Welcome to Capital Collegiate Prep–Home of the Tigers! Our vision as a school is to promote a desire for learning, critical thinking, problem solving & collaboration by taking authentic ownership of lifelong learning in pursuit of academic and personal success. Since opening our doors in 2019, we have taught an Ohio standards-based curriculum with regular assessment of achievement data to truly individualize instruction for our students. We aim to create an academic school culture that is students first and empowers students to take control of their future by positively reinforcing and celebrating students as they align themselves to academic expectations. Parent and community involvement is key, and we welcome partnership and collaboration.

Mr. Antwan Pratt, Principal
Mr. Antwan Pratt grew up in Pittsburgh and Columbus. He was a National Honor Society graduate of Columbus East High School and went on to play collegiate football on scholarship with Central State University. Before becoming an educator, Mr. Pratt worked as a licensed Realtor, Property Manager, Senior Recruiter & Business Development Manager where he provided professional development and coaching in skills and labor consultancy for large companies throughout the MidWest. Mr. Pratt hold’s a Bachelor’s degree in Business Psychology from Central State University, an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Ohio Dominican University, and a Master’s degree in Education from Ashland University. In his free time, Mr. Pratt enjoys the company of his family as well as coaching Youth Football & Youth Basketball.
Natalee M. Long, Interim RVP
Natalee Long joined ACCEL Schools in 2015 with over 15 years of classroom teaching and K-12 school leadership experience. As Senior Vice President of Operations at ACCEL Schools, Ms. Long leads a team of Regional Vice Presidents that oversees leadership development, instructional programming, operations, and strategic planning for over 45 public charter schools. Ms. Long is a licensed Ohio School Superintendent. She earned a M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lee University, a M. Ed. in Educational Administration from The Ohio State University and will complete a Doctorate in Education in 2020 from The Ohio State University.

Capital Collegiate Prep is a public, community school. We are our own school district sponsored by the St. Aloysius Orphanage (Charter School Specialists) which provides oversight and enforces academic, fiscal, and legal accountability. We are managed by ACCEL Schools, a high performing network of over 50 charter schools located throughout the United States.
