Welcome Letter for the 2022-23 School Year
Tiger Family,
It is with great joy and excitement that I write this letter as the returning principal in both of our 4th year at Capital Collegiate Preparatory Academy for the 2022-23 school year. Over the past three years we have seen a tremendous amount of growth academically and continue to look forward to it this upcoming school year as well. As we continue to increase the rigor and raise the standard here we will at CCPA we ask that you join in these efforts. While the expectations will remain the same, the way in which we approach it will feel different than it has before.
Over the years the Tiger community has showed its resilience, flexibility, and overall commitment to CCPA and we want to thank you all dearly for that. We have navigated a pandemic and the aftermath of it and continue to show perseverance at the sign of any adversity. We will continue to stress the importance of education while here in the building as well as when our scholars are away from the building. With that said, we will look, feel, and act as such on a daily basis with no excuses.
As we continue to be a pillar in the neighborhood, our process is to continue to REBUILD, RESTORE, and RECLAIM the excellence and pride the area is known for. We will continue to be the model in superior standards as both high producing citizens of the community as well as academic all stars.
This school year we will take what we have accomplished over the last three school years and set higher more ambitious goals. We will continue to hold a combination of the school, the scholar, and the family accountable for the success of each and every student that walks through our doors. Here at CCPA we will not allow short cuts in any aspects and mold our scholars for achievement in High School and beyond. Again, it’s my pleasure to return as principal for the fourth consecutive year and look forward to this continued partnership with you all.
If you have any ideas, questions, and or concerns, my door is always open. Also feel free to contact me at 614-300-3685 or apratt1@capcollprep.org.
Sincerely,

Antwan Pratt, M.Ed., MBA
